LOGGING. I HATE IT. If you are looking at this site you obviously have an interest in the Pigeon River Country. I’ve camped, fished, hunted, biked, and more there for the last 65 years. Seeing some of the areas that have been logged actually makes me extremely saddened. It’s like an old friend has been torn away from you. You get to know hills and trails as if they are friends. I really don’t know how much longer I will be hitting the trails that I have loved for decades. Here’s just a few photos of what I consider a destroyer of my forest. I know it’s supposed to be good for the wildlife, but I’ll never see it and who knows how long before there is any noticable improvement, if any. See the photos below and let me know what you think. jim@michiganimaging.com
